Mummy Mania - Painting the Tomb King

Just a quick post to show the weekend's progress on my Tomb King. I've begun to apply my colour scheme to the mini. So far I'm very pleased with how things are going although it's only at an early stage and the scheme will need to develop as I progress.

  1. Hi David, I have been looking through your site and I really love your painting style. Egypt has a fascinating culture and iconography and makes a very cool model subject. Can't get over how smooth your painting is; just the quality of your base coat is enough to put most people to shame. But, as we all know, the better the foundation the better the end result :)

The Kings face is looking excellent already and I love the way you have incorporated the colour and texture from your colour board. I look forward to seeing more updates as you progress with this project.

  4. You are a very talented painter. And although you've set a very high expectation for this mini with the superb work on the base, I'm pretty sure you're gonna knock this out of the park. Very inspirational!
